The Lord is a warrior
He is a defender
Of the weak and the meek-hearted
He is the Lion of Judah
He is the Lamb who was slain
He is the only fitting sacrifice
He was born of a virgin
Without sin
And yet
He became sin for us1
He was pierced for our transgressions2
And by His stripes we are healed
Look on Him
O, you peoples
And be saved
You have only to call upon His name3
He waits for you with arms outstretched
To welcome you home
Return to him, O peoples
Turn from your paths of wickedness
And seek the Lord while He may be found
Jesus
Name above all names
Lord above all lords
King above all kings
The Last Adam4
To Those Who Have Ears To Hear:
Knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven5
Have been given to you
Stewards of My mysteries6
I require only faithfulness from you
That you would set your feet to walk the way of peace7
The way of My gospel
Speak only as I have given you to speak
Go as I have sent you
Though many fall to your right and to your left
Remain faithful
There is a Great Deception8
Coming upon this world
And many shall be taken away by it
But you, O My servants
Hold fast to the word I have given you
Remain steadfast in your watch of the destruction to come
Heaven and earth will pass away
But My word will never pass away9
Take My word for it is a sharp two-edged sword10
Able to cleave flesh from bone
It is the weapon in your hand11
The weapon of My warfare12
Hold strong the shield of faith
Cinch up your belt
Affix your breastplate
And take up the helmet
War is declared
But My victory is assured
To You Shepherds Who Keep Watch Over My Flock:
Remember your sacred trust and do not depart from it
Uphold righteousness in My church
You are My standard bearer
I have given you authority over My people
Hold well this trust I have given you
For I will hold you to account13
Do not be married to this world14
And its temptations
I have set you apart
I know you are weary
But take heart
Wait for me only a little while longer
For behold, I am coming soon
Finish the race15
O My shepherds
There is a reward reserved for you
But guard well My flock
Remember that I said he is a toothless lion16
Do not fear
Though he rages against you
I will grind down his teeth until there is nothing left17
Purify yourselves, O My servants
Keep yourselves from sin18
Do not allow him a foothold19
